Flash Photography

The built-in ﬂash or an EOS-

dedicated, EX-series Speedlite

enables E-TTL II autoﬂash

(evaluative ﬂash metering with

preﬂash), making ﬂash

photography as easy as normal

shooting. The result is natural-

looking ﬂash photos. In the Basic

Zone modes (except <3> <5>

<7>), ﬂash photography is fully

automatic. In Creative Zone modes,

ﬂash can be used whenever

necessary.
